You must visit The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy because the chapel where St. Faustina, the founder of the devotion to the Divine Mercy, saw her visions of our Lord depicted in the museum. The Little Poland Museum is located within the shrine. Three Polish saints' lives are seen upon by visitors through the exhibits housed within. It also features an unsettling recreation of St. Maximillian Kolbe's jail cell. Kolbe was a World War II martyr who was detained, abused, and eventually killed by the Gestapo for providing refuge to fleeing Jews.
Explore the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy and take in the stunning hand-sculpted statues and stones that adorn the façade.This is a great location for meditation and historical education about well-known Catholic figures. There are many different religious goods available at their gift shop. This is a site that should not be missed on any tour.
