INTRODUCTION

The National Shrine and Parish of the Divine Mercy, located in Marilao, Bulacan, Philippines, is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Divine Mercy.  Elevated to the status of a National Shrine in November 2002 by Archbishop Orlando Quevedo, it is one of the most popular destinations in the province. The church was founded by Vicente Robles and was first constructed in 1992, with the first Mass held on February 2, 1992, during the Feast of the Presentation.
